Rumour has it that Skales is to pay N4.5 billion before he can leave Baseline Records

Yesterday, multiple sources revealed that singer, Skales and his manager, Osagie Osarenkhoe are in police detention after being invited to clarify allegations of fraud levelled against them by their record label, Baseline Music.

While the whole messy drama continues, it has been revealed that Skales contract with Baseline Records states that the label will receive 70 percent of his earnings! In other words, Skales was to get 30% of his earning AFTER deduction of costs!

An unconfirmed report also states that he can only leave the label if he pays them the sum of £10,000,000!

That’s like 4.5 billion naira... Did Skales read the contract at all?

See the mind boggling terms of Skales contract after the cut, as well as Nigerians reactions.
