Real Life Hero: Jamie Foxx Saves Man From Burning Car Wreck In Dramatic Scenes

Jamie Foxx is now a real life hero after he helped save a man whose car flipped over multiple times and caught fire in front of his home.

The 48-year-old actor heard the crash and, having rung the emergency services, ran to unbuckle the driver, before dragging him 30 feet away amid fears the vehicle may explode as it became engulfed in flames.

The driver, Brett Kyle, was hospitalised with multiple injuries, including a broken collar bone and punctured lung, and was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol.

However, the modest actor has played down claims, insisting there are ‘no heroes’ in the story as he shared an emotional embrace with Kyle’s grateful dad, reports the Mirror.

Speaking to ABC News, Foxx said:

"I’m not a hero, but had to do something. Met the father of the young man from last night today. This is all that matters.

That a man, a son, a brother’s life was spared last night. God had his arms wrapped around all of us. No heroes, just happy fathers.

Speaking to reporters, Kyle’s father broke down as he said:

"Just the idea that someone would do that is so much more than I can fathom. It’s all tears of joy. He’s got two sisters and a brother, that would’ve lost their brother if it wasn’t for him."
