DJ Bassman Shows Interest in Politics, to contest for Osun State house of Assembly |
Saheed Oluwaseun Tanimola-Salawu, popularly known as DJ BASSMAN, has just declared his intention to run for Osun State House of Assembly as member representing Ife Central Local Government Area.
So far,so good. If Osun state needs to evaluate and take stock of their natural and human resources,He should be given recognition among the first for his contribution to the Nigeria music industry. He is energetic,creative,persistent,
Born on April 7 1980 to the family of God fearing Muslim parents in Ile-ife,who strongly believe in giving the best education to their children. He attended one of the best primary and secondary school,Ife Infant Academy & Ibikunle Lawal College Olonade ile-ife.
He is an HND Graduate in mass communication from Osun State Polytechnic,iree. Dj Bassman squealed his way to limelight via,late Dj Kaka of Eko FM 89.75fm in 2003 during his Students Industrial Training. And later went to NTA Oyo and NTA Osogbo in 2004 and 2005 respectively. Became the pioneer Presenter of Mega Fun Show now { Mega Mix } on Nta Osogbo and worked as the Personal Assistant to the former General Manager late Prince Benedict Adeleke Adedire. He decided to extend his programmed to NTA ile -ife fun loving viewers in ile- ife and its environs. He started Bassman Flavour in the year 2005 to showcased what he had learnt for all the years.
Dj Bassman was awarded by Solid Crew Entertainment O.A.U as the Young Presenter of the year 2007 in Osun State, Skyline Entertainment Uniosun Awards 2010,as Radio personality of the year 2010. Also at Osun entertainment awards 2012, He won Best Radio entertainment Presenter/producer of the Year in Male category and Also won Best tv presenter and Entertainment producer 2012.
DJ Bassman has also won several awards from professional bodies,associations,schools nd social organizations. He celebrates his bthday every year with d less privileged. He is warm,kind hearted and sociable..
He was the official DJ for the second term campaigned of Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola the governor, state of osun,in his statement Oluwaseun Tanimola also voiced out that Governor Rauf Aregbesola is his role Model In politics. And also the commissioner for information and strategy mr sunday akere and Hon sikiru ayedun the commissioner for Tourism,home affairs and culture are one of his guide in politics He believes,The change we are looking for is the participation of young mind and young politician should be giving right and opportunity to contest at any level for public offices because, i believe in the youths, because Success in life goes to the person who has the courage to dream, The ability to organize and strength to execute....
The starting point of all achievement is DESIRE.... So,we youths,should supports the present administration of Ogbeni Rauf Adesoji Aregbesola, for the growth of our tomorrow...
